The WRVHS Museum

The White River Valley Historical Society Museum operating hours are 10am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Admission is free.

The museum is located at 297 Main Street, Forsyth, across from the Taney County Judicial Center. The WRVHS which is celebrating its’ 50th year, offers a research library and gift shop/bookstore, in addition to the museum.

Agricultural Roots

May 16 — July 2012
A 12' wide horse-drawn hay rake, hillside plow and other vintage farm implements are showcased as part of the latest exhibit at the White River Valley Historical Society Museum in Forsyth. Photos and information ranging from ‘critters’ to ‘cash crops’ are also on display during the Society’s “Agricultural Roots” exhibit, which runs through late July.
