The White River Valley Historical Society has a growing collection of information available to assist with your research, and free wi-fi access. The library is open during normal business hours; however, you may wish to contact us about room availability, as it is used for meetings.

Check back soon, as we’re continually adding new information to aid you with your research! Please note that the information in the indexes generally is as printed in the books/newspapers, and may be repeated with multiple spelling variations.

Library

There are many books available for researchers in the Society’s Research area, many which are out of print. The library also has the Quarterlies, Ozarks Mountaineer, and Ozarks Watch magazines.

Archives

Our busy volunteers are indexing and scanning our great collection of archived documents and registers. These include several school registers, physicians ledger from the 1940s, King Solomon mine pay-book from 1916, Bradleyville postal money order book from 1895 and more!
