McFarland Mill--located 3 miles above the mouth of Swan Creek, it was built by George R. McFarland in 1895.  Near the old Springfield/Lead Hill road.  General store and post office also.  Mill discontinued in 1908.

Oliver Mill--probably constructed in 1831 by James Oliver, one mile above the mouth of Swan Creek.  Earliest mill in the region later known as Taney County.  Transferred to William Oliver, s/o James, it was later sold to George Gibson.  Was one of the few mills capable of grinding corn and sawing lumber in the area.

Reynolds Mill--After selling his first mill above the mouth of Bilyeu Creek, John J. Reynolds purchased land near Forsyth and built this gristmill in the mid-to-late 1870s.  Also became the site of Reynolds' cotton gin.  Sold to Joseph Riggs and Robert Clines in 1886.  Leased to Reynolds family in late 1880s.  Owned or leased by Robb Clinkenbeard in 1892.  Purchased in 1901 by the Forsyth Milling Company.  John Knox, Howard Williams, and Jess Lambeth were also noted to be owners during the early 20th century.  In May 1921, the mill was bought by John McClary, who operated it until the flood of 1927, which damaged it so badly it was never reopened.

Sperling Mill--Originally built and operated in the early-to-mid-1870s by John J. Reynolds, who sold it to James A. Franklin in the late 1870s.  It was then sold to John Sperling, who operated it until the early 1890s, when it was destroyed by high water.  Located on Swan Creek, above the mouth of Bilyeu Creek, near the Christian County line.
